I don't think this is what you meant to say, but more than that, you probably shouldn't say the thing you meant to say because it's speculation.

From the article: "*Hours after* news of Wendt’s death at age 76 broke, the “Man on the Inside” star, 77, shared a heartfelt sentiment for his fallen co-star."

Thank God someone was able to pry that out of him, breaking his long-held silence on the issue. @nypost.com

Random neologism I thought of:

Fibboleth:

(From 'fib', a lie and 'shibboleth', a word used to distinguish ingroupers from outgroupers)

Definition: A mutually agreed upon lie used to bolster ingroup cohesion, filter outgroupers, and frustrate discourse. A specific form of 'blue lie.'

Lost in the debate about the value of college is that the alternative is so much worse. The debt crisis is largely a function of people not *finishing* their degree, both running up debt and not having the means on the back end to pay it off because of a skill gap.

This is the truest thing I've heard in a while. Before I left TikTok, the trend was guys comparing what they thought women's fantasies of dying were to their own fantasies. The male fantasies were almost always clips of dying in a blaze of glory against impossible odds. Now think of winnable fights.
