I'm cheating because I didn't witness this but I was told by a fellow teacher who taught mixed deaf and hearing kids. Seventh graders to be exact. A few of the class clowns+

saw this. Yes. Exactly. Though I will say, as someone with Autism, becoming aware of how people can perceive it and actively making the choice not to is possible. Learning to say reflective statements helps, like "I can't imagine how you must be feeling" instead of saying you know how they feel.

Hey RFJ Jr. My dupixent shot really hurts, so Im sure it gave me more autism. Could you tell the mean ol dupixent company to make a pill so I don't have to stab myself every 2 weaks? I am totally sure that would help fight autism, yeah, totally, mmhmm! (sarcasm and I'm autistic I can say this)
