Managed to really hammer the hobby backlog this week! A good bunch of Death Guard built and even a sneaky Krieg Guardsman too. Am looking forward to eventually painting these, once I've cleared out more boxes. 😁

Has been a busy one this week, but managed to get some more Death Guard and Chaos Spawn built for 40k this week. I was pleasantly surprised at how much customisation and flavour for each god that the Chaos Spawn could do too!

A bit more hobbying done this past fortnight, in between being full up with a cold. Few more Death Guard models, along with some power generators, built for Warhammer 40k.

Went to see Stereophonics live in Cardiff, as my first time ever seeing a big concert like this. Was absolutely incredible, especially with the whole crowd singing along!
Supporting acts were Finn Forster and Blossoms, who were good, but the 'Phonics really knocked it out the park! 🏴🤘

Went to see Stereophonics live in Cardiff, as my first time ever seeing a big concert like this. Was absolutely incredible, especially with the whole crowd singing along!

Managed to get loads of hobbying done this week. Some easy build Death Guard marines and Poxwalkers, along with a ton of terrain, all for Warhammer 40k, and which came from the Conquest magazine collection. Really starting to make a dent in the backlog at this rate. 😊

Managed to get some hobbying done this week and built the 10th Anniversary survivors for Kingdom Death Monster and also some scatter terrain (not pictured) for Warhammer 40k. The fight against the backlog continues! 😄

Gave axe throwing a go in Cardiff. First time ever doing it and it was great fun! Think I've found a new potential hobby to add to the ever growing list, as got lots of bull's-eyes over the course of the session. Even did a Robin Hood impression and nearly cut my axe in half with the other one. 😁

Nice hike up the mountain above Cwmbran this week while the weather was nice. Went up through Blaen Bran woods, past the reservoir, and along the top of the mountain over to the old Iron Age mound of Twmbarlwm before heading home. 😎

I forgot how uni assignments let you experience the full gamut of human emotions in a mind bending rollercoaster that leaves you completely exhausted. 😵💫
At least I'm now done with the hardest one for the summer. Did not miss this experience though!

We played Carcassonne followed by 7 Wonders, and I only just barely avoided the wooden spoon by coming 5th and then 4th in the scoring. Looking forward to next time to try for a comeback! 😁

After turning my house into a construction site for a fortnight, followed by a sudden tooth infection that spread to my neck and tried to kill me, I have finally finished building everything in the Into The Dark Kill Team box set (terrain not pictured). 😁

Time to finally give Kingdom Death Monster a spin and to put the gaming table to its full use. Have been looking forward to this for a long time. 🤩

Bit of a throwback today, as I realised I never posted this guy after I finished them before. Tau Coldstar Commander with fusion blades from Warhammer 40k. Was my first proper attempt at blending and was a lot harder than I thought it'd be, but still happy with how it all turned out. 🤩

This week's hobby time was been taken up by going through old White Dwarf magazines and cutting out the articles worth keeping, years later. I now have a dedicated ring binder slowly filling up with painting guides and paint schemes. 😁

Another week; another bunch of minis built. Two more from Kingdom Death Monster and a Tau Piranha from Warhammer 40k. Going to keep building models so I can use them in games before switching over to painting again. ☺️

Continuing to work on Crusade implementation in Warhammer 40k for NewRecruit/BSData.
Managed to get D6 profiles to stop changing into D7s and add a +1 to them, without breaking the other stats, when applying weapon upgrades, which is quite funky.
