Did you know that Hitchcock's 'Rebecca' film set was deliberately constructed in such a way that the rooms had high ceilings, doors and windows were extra tall, and drapes were long and flowing in order to visually diminish the second Mrs de Winter? It is particularly noticeable in this image.
