trump is not alone and is not acting alone. never was

why this obsession with this douchebag? the bigger problem is the next-door-brad who loves his AR-15 and his pick-up truck, who believes every story that confirms his inner feeling: he is a victim, not a stupid loser.

darauf gäbe es von einem vernünftigen Journalisten nur eine sinnvolle Art von Antwort. Entweder "weil?" oder "warum?"

Und dann labert sich der Einpeitscher um Kopf und Kragen.

okay, I think we can agree on that. I always disliked the term AI, mostly because the whole thing was more or less theoretical until crypto scam triggered GPU production big time. like quantum computing today: it has (without any doubt) its applications but no hardware available.

pitching an idea for funding is not exactly the same as pushing a product into markets I would say. but maybe that's just my socialization.

showing creativity and novelty in research is one thing. just pushing buzzword buttons another.

today, AI is ~80% bullshit bingo. but in the 1950s? nah...

gemini 3pro is my workhorse for explorative work, research, and debugging (data science, AI - software not so much)

the integration of the huge index in the background is unmatched.

waiting for vllm to support step2.5 in a (more or less) stable version 👍

but qwen3next seems solid as a replacement for qwen3 (235b)

q3n-coding is a candidate to replace glm4.7 here. let's see how this works out...

oh wow. is this the death of the loss curve?
Fang et al. (2025) first, now this.

dobrindt ist einer von den Kompetenzbestien im Kabinett. wie ein kompass, der immer perfekt nach Süden zeigt.

the term is old as fuck, drin the 1950s. but it was meant as a new approach, as a goal, to mimic biological processes to solve complex problems heuristically.

nowadays AI is understood as a description of the status quo, exactly like you said. marketing doesn't mix well with science

impressive

this was always the case. anytime. that's what Americans love. Taxing the rich is Communism, right?
RIGHT?
February 2, 2026 at 5:41 AM
not really, no. that's what people think vibe coding is who never mastered it.
February 1, 2026 at 6:34 AM
well, that's your opinion. for me LLMs boosted my productivity by several hundred percent. and I realized that it is not smart to argue against people that condemn AI-based coding. because I'd like to keep my advantage as long as I can.

wenn nicht gar Höchsteffizienz! quasi Verbrenner 2.0 -- so fast 40%; im selbsterstellten Testzyklus sogar knapp drüber!

Bosch? Beliefern die nicht Hersteller von fossilen Kraftfahrzeugen?

yes, that's exactly what happened in other countries once the US took interest in that region.

fair enough. 👍

argument ad hominem ist nicht sonderlich intelligent. dass merz mit knapp 2m anders am Pult steht als gysi mit seinen 1,64.

weißt du welche menschengruppe gern politische gegner persönlich angeht und mit klischees belegt?

that's what defines a great nation: they are only concerned about their *own* people dying.

just do it. write something that makes your life easier in some way. don't write anything with risks (financially or otherwise) attached. try it for yourself. invest some days and you can write that article by yourself (AI may help you)

I am using a self hosted GLM-4.7 for coding because feeding Big Tech with my internal knowledge is not an option. It's impressive what powerful models are available for basically everyone. 👍
January 30, 2026 at 5:38 AM
yes, the speed of progress is astonishing. most of the arguments against AI are so 2024...
