Good morning!

The day after the booms I left the poor, exhausted dog at home and walked downtown to an open coffeehouse and just sat for a while. I haven’t done that in so long, we’re usually on the go so it’s just a brief stop while waiting for the coffee.

It wasn’t very good coffee but I enjoyed my time.

So I have reached the point in my weekday where I mostly fuck off for the next four hours. I can’t leave early because I will accrue “tardy” attendance points, so I will stay and get paid to do almost nothing until four o’clock.

I just deleted the x app. Such a cesspool.

So while at work, I tend to run hot. I drink an uncomfortable amount of water to stay hydrated, but my internal furnace runs amok. It’s not a super physical or stressful job and it’s been a thing since my late 50’s I would guess.
Stoking that fire leaves me utterly exhausted. It just seems weird.

I went to a slide show/pot luck last night. Got cleaned up and wore a button-up shirt and even tucked it into my pants. Not a look I have rocked in years. Felt a little like adult cosplay.
