What I love about wiliam castle is he tried to bring late 50s horror back to the Gothic roots of the golden age.

What a banger. I love this film, this is a comfort watch for me. Some true scream queens, jump scares,and Vincent Price being an absolute king.
Also famous for 'Emergo' the wire-pulled skeleton. No one did it like William Castle lol.

made my screensaver (remember those?!) the word sega spinning while going from blue to white. legit looks like a screen saver sega would have offered back in the day and goes well with my darkstalkers desktop background. and yes that's a still from the second darkstalkers arcade game

so i got recommended a video the rise of retro games i can tell you before i even opened it why the retro game biz is booming. It's not just nostalgia retro games dont take up a whole TB of memory that takes 3 hours to install...for starters. they dont lock good features behind paywalls
