Mostly clueless FPL over-tinkerer. Somehow scraped a top 5k finish in 2023-24
I both love and hate the Assistant Manager chip:
- love it because it shakes up the group-think and pitches significant numbers against each other (Slot vs Moyes vs trip. cap etc.)
- hate it because it’s way too complicated so excludes the average player who’s not hopelessly addicted like me

The Saka injury has introduced a level of team variety (albeit in only 1 position) that I haven’t seen in the game for a long time.
Obviously gutting for Saka himself and I hope he’s back soon, but from a pure game perspective it’s made this gameweek a lot more interesting!

I’ve held onto Haaland and a large part of me wants to hang on so he becomes a proper differential for Forest and Palace.
Main problem is I currently don’t have Saka.
I was just playing around and realised I can get to this insane, top-heavy monstrosity…

I’ve held onto Haaland and a large part of me wants to hang on so he becomes a proper differential for Forest and Palace.

Decided against my original plan of Haaland + Smith Rowe -> João Pedro + Saka (-4).
Down 16 points on that.
But here’s the kicker: I still wanted JP so decided to sell one of my other strikers… Strand Larsen.
Another 9 point negative swing.
Just gotta laugh!
