You’d never thought of them before, but when you shrank it was impossible to deny how much space in your mind your girlfriend’s feet took up. Years later, regrown, the fixation wore off. But you still feel a spark in your loins when she pinches her pinky toe and teases that you used to be its size.
Does shrinking change who you are as a person? Obviously living at that size changes how you view the world in ways that would stick even after growing back. But does the process itself cross a few wires, mess with your brain chemistry, give you some new fixation you hadn’t had before?
