When Publishers use forced italics (e.g. 𝑖𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑐𝑠) in their social media posts, it makes the content less #accessible. You have a duty of care to your audience. Please stop.
Stop using stylised italics (Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols) in scientific social media posts.
Decorative characters make content inaccessible to those using assistive technology.

The #FSBIGreenTravel to #FSBI2025 continues after a pit stop in Bangor, spending a wonderfully raucous evening with dear friend and colleague, Gary Carvalho! Treated to a bounty of vegetarian dishes. Produce which was in the garden 5 mins before. Now a quick train to Holyhead and the ferry awaits!
