After almost 4 years of relentless attacks on their neighbor, Russia continues to suffer loses to Ukraine

But that's no reason to think that the administration's plans to launch land-based attacks on a faraway country are questionable

When prices go up, it's hard to convince people not to blame the administration

It's even harder when the administration is spending the people's money on vindictive prosecutions that they keep losing

Why seize a tanker?

Either because the war against drug traffic is actually a war for oil, or it's just meant to be a distraction from bigger problems for the administration

Neither of those seem like good reasons
December 11, 2025 at 10:35 AM
When you say a boat that is thousands of miles away is full of drugs, people never see the boats themselves, so they may believe you

When you say prices are down, people *do* see the prices themselves, so they will think you are out of touch or just lying

The administration wants $12B of taxpayer money to bail out farmers who lost sales to the tariffs, which themselves increased costs for consumers or reduced profits for retailers

So the tariff policy does economic harm to producers, retailers, consumers, and taxpayers

And their upside is . . .?

I don't know if the administration will ever face justice

For now, I'll have to settle for them having to face the current Supreme Court

As the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire winds down, Qatar's PM says the US led coalition is trying “to force the way forward” amidst accusations of Israeli violations

Strangely, Ukraine is still unwilling to accept the plan the US is negotiating to end Russia's war on them

Just because something is called a peace prize doesn't mean it represents any standard of bringing peace

In exactly the same way that just because something is called a recommendation from CDC doesn't mean it represents any standard of controlling disease

In the American justice system, people are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty

But that whole "proof" thing is apparently optional if the defendant is on a small boat or in the NY Attorney General's office
December 5, 2025 at 10:17 AM
The administration knew about the second strike on the boat's survivors when they railed against lawmakers who said servicepeople should not obey illegal orders

So, for servicepeople wondering if the administration protect them, ask yourself this:

What signals are they sending?
December 4, 2025 at 10:20 AM
If you're in the military and need more assurances that you should *not* obey an illegal order, consider this

The people who give such orders won't hesitate to throw you under the bus for committing a crime by obeying *their* orders

The administration did not acknowledge World AIDS Day because "an awareness day is not a strategy"

And in fairness, a real strategy to fight AIDS would be funding things like PEPFAR

And they are cutting that
December 2, 2025 at 10:07 AM
The administration will release their MRI results from last month

They say they don't know what body part was scanned, but they know results show they are in excellent physical health

Which means their understanding of how medical procedures work is as good as anyone's in RFK Jr's HHS
December 1, 2025 at 10:23 AM
The administration wants to determine how many countries in Central and South America are governed

I wonder if the people of those countries are looking at how they are governing America and thinking "Yeah . . . we're good without you"
November 30, 2025 at 10:33 AM
The FDA seems to be gearing to make it harder for everyone to get vaccines

And as much as I distrust big pharma, I still trust RFK Jr's agenda even less
November 29, 2025 at 11:10 AM
The administration wants to reevaluate whether we should have brought Afghanis who helped our military in their homeland to America

I'm guessing most of our military thinks it's a bad idea to show people who *might* help us in the future that we will *not* help them

Patel says the FBI will investigate the DC shooting as a possible act of terrorism, which it should

What he's not saying is how many FBI agents working on counterterrorism have been reassigned or fired since the administration began its term

You think your relatives are difficult at Thanksgiving?

Imagine Tatiana Schlossberg asking cousin Bobby about his thoughts on funding for cancer research
November 26, 2025 at 10:31 AM
The administration hired a lawyer whose "misconduct may have tainted the grand jury proceedings" after making "fundamental misstatements of law” to a grand jury

If that happened to me, I wouldn't argue when a judge said I shouldn't have hired that lawyer in the first place
November 25, 2025 at 10:26 AM
The administration boycotted the G20 summit, only to have South African leaders of the summit say “We will mark them absent and continue with the business”

I suspect most of the world will be doing that over the remaining years of the administration's term
November 24, 2025 at 10:33 AM
Many think the Ukraine plan is just a signal to the world that the administration will never stand up to Putin

But it's also a signal to Venezuela that the administration supports countries being rewarded for attacking their neighbors
November 23, 2025 at 10:34 AM
The administration now supports Mamdani but can't find room in the party for MTG when neither of them changed their positions

And all of the GOP is trying to figure out how they stay on the same path as the administration while it reels like a punch drunk fighter
November 22, 2025 at 10:13 AM
The FDA recalled a baby formula for causing botulism, but they haven't gotten it off store shelves

They have updated their website to say "The claim 'vaccines do not cause autism' is not an evidence-based claim"

In case anyone was still wondering what RFK Jr was doing to protect our health
November 21, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Democratic lawmakers who served in the US military told people who are currently serving that they need to obey the law

The administration said that was sedition and called for their deaths

Anyone want to argue that both sides are the same?
November 21, 2025 at 10:20 AM
The administration has shown that people don't need any traditional expertise or experience to do an important job

And Lindsey Halligan now joins the list of them to show you do need some traditional expertise or experience to do an important job well
