The techno fascists have built a belief structure where they are the naturally superior beings and anyone who is not them are subhuman. Yarvin and others within the dark enlightenment have for years illuminated their belief that they are gods amongst mere mortals. Literal ubermensh.

The tech barons behaved as though they were atop a social hierarchy, and expected mass adoration for their generosity+forgiveness for mistakes.
