There are a hundred or more wedding bands claiming online to be *Scotland’s Number One Wedding Band*. This simply can’t be true. I’ve a good mind to call Trading Standards.

Thanks to Scottish Borders Council for sending the gritter round to spread…sorry…lay…a stripe of grit on our street. Not sure how effective this will be. Perhaps the Grit Fairy will come and spread it more effectively. Or maybe I’ll just grab a brush and try to do it myself….

I love a bit of BÖC. Last time I saw them was over 20 years ago in Glasgow when their tour manager came onstage during “Reaper” holding the biggest cowbell I’ve ever seen. He hammered it all the way through the song. Quite funny, but he was no Gene Frenkl. 🎼😎🎼

Sifting through my music storeroom and found *five cowbells*! I don’t ever recall buying a cowbell. Possibly once when I was a kid back in 1976 to play “Alright Now” with my first band but never two nor indeed five. But here they are!

Just using up what I had lying around fella. Forgot about the bowl of Thousand Island Dressing I had in the fridge though. Big culinary error right there!

Got a jar of this for Christmas. Been looking forward to trying it. Opened it today and it’s feckin’ awful. A total waste of decent honey. Not sure whose idea it was to combine truffles with honey but they need to have a word with themselves. I’ve decided to store it…in the bin.

Spent a couple of hours setting up a “Pecker Cam” so we can watch the birds in our garden. First location was too far away so relocated the cam. This is as close as I can get. Waiting for the Greater Spotted Woodpecker to arrive. He’s magnificent! Meantime it’s just a few tits…

Almost 37 years late to the party but I’m loving this Discogs find. A promo copy of Paul Haig’s “Chain” LP with relevant A4 press blurb. It’s an excellent record and no mistake.
