One of the most satisfying things when I write melodies is when I come up with a harmonized lead guitar riff that sounds great. The only downside is that I now have to figure out what rhythm part is going on underneath

I was number 24 at my polling place this morning in NJ, which is a lucky/significant number for me. Does it mean good things for the outcome tonight? Idk, I still can’t seem to shake the feeling

Can’t shake the feeling that tomorrow will end in utter disappointment. Really hope I’m wrong, but the sense of dread is real

People fucking hate this guy. They fucking hate ICE. They fucking hate how much power he has. He is at 63% overall disapproval to 37% approval. That's lower than their poll after January 6th. And this poll was done before he started intentionally starving people. I wish our media would reflect this.

The junk/spam texts have been coming more frequently with my upcoming NJ governor election. I usually just ignore, but this one pissed me off since it’s complete BS *and* is from a PAC with a Virginia address. They can fuck all the way off with that trash

Today’s far right may know it’s wrong to talk about a “superior race,” so it just frames it as a “superior culture” instead:

I cannot stress how cathartic it is to see live music, even if you don’t know 3/4 of a bill. Caught a show last night in the LES, and was blown away by the solo acoustic set from Molly Frances. Great set, killer performance, and added to the library

Cops led us into the street as the new “protest zone” and then beat us repeatedly.

Got hit in the face with a baton. Leaving to pick up my friends who were arrested.

Stay safe out there.

Can’t believe it’s been 10 yrs to the day since I met The Joy Formidable before their killer CMJ show at Brooklyn Bowl. Also can’t believe it’s been a decade since CMJ festival existed. It was a blast being able to bounce around venues across NYC to see some free (& not free) shows

I have zero fucking sense of humor about this rfk shit. besides the obviously gross misreprestation/othering/etc of autistic people it's catastrophic from any sound scientific POV. any doctor who consults governmental guidelines for anything at all under this admin is guilty of malpractice
