50. Around Chicago. Want to travel again when/if things get better. Love photography and musicking (if you work hard at something, it is no longer playing) and making stuff with my CO2 laser.
Y'all... yoga, even a little bit, helps keep you regular.

Just fyi

Amazing how a humidifier helps me sleep. My hygrometer said 22% humidity when i decided to put some moisture in the air. Now it's at 35%. No inhaling razor blades.

WoT book #4 has 1.5 times as many pages.

Chapter 26 was... exposition. Need to bookmark that.

Halfway through this one. Don't like Faile. But just my opinion.

When the grammar police at work uses the word "copywritten" and no one speaks up....grrrr

Do we really need to open the discussion on why blaming all medical issues Americans suffer on "the American diet"?
(e.g., NAFLD)

There are so many scientific and medical reasoning issues with saying shit like that, let alone the colonialist overtones, especially when they are from the UK

Hey! It's 6°F outside! We've reached the Kevin Bacon threshold!

ORD to AMS 4/23 is almost triple what it was last year. My dream of using the miles we've accrued since COVID just will never materialize. 350k miles might get me free wifi on a trip from Chicago to... Indianapolis... and that's a maybe.

Well, it is cold here in the Chicagoland area.

The temps are listed in Fahrenheit. 1°F with a wind chill of -20°F (-17°C/-28°C)

Brrrrr

I just read a reference that described migraine sufferers as "migraineurs"...I feel so special now. Do I get special Sainsbury vouchers now?

I don't agree with my doctor's diagnosis that this pain is from heartburn. I can't bloody move at times because it radiates to my back! Take pepcid??? Ffs

Hey y'all... there's a difference between getting head and getting a head cold. One is enjoyable and the other... not quite. He specific when you send requests out into the universe.

I am truly surprised that Monday is still a federal holiday.

I *do not* love not being able to plan ANYTHING beyond two weeks because our g******** sucks.

Job? Maybe not.

New travel restrictions? Probably.

Cost of flying domestic or international going to double again? You might want to plan on that.

Had to see my dr. for that upper abdominal pain. Drew blood and the good news is that my creatinine levels are in the normal range now. Still not sure for the pain.
*monocyte % is off too :/

I'm severely allergic to horizontal snow. The kind that sticks to the sides of houses and their windows.

Lots of posts from me tonight.

Finished Book 3 of WoT

I'm still liking it enough to keep going.

I bought these at Next in London when I was there in 2012. They are fitting well if not a bit short.

I'm also glad they are button fly chinos.

I'm old enough to remember when "regular" gasoline WAS NOT supposed to be put in cars, only farm equipment. It still had lead in it.

Literally just happened. My husband stumbled out of bed and tripped on the last stair leading to the kitchen as he was trying to get another cup of coffee.

Medical science has made great strides in addressing migraine aura and pain... but for me, the worst part is the lingering fogginess laying sometimes for days.

I'm not saying I won't not be playing a ps5 game coming out in March with the protagonist named Kliff...

I get a sense that we humans in the more northern latitudes start dreading the lack of daylight in September, but don't get over it until April. Self imposed negativity?

Maybe I can raise sheep and sell their wool.

I could be a shear Cliff.

Attention British and metric using pals:

My name is Clifton, not Cliftonne since I weigh 10% less now.

Thank you for your understanding.
