But I've woken up with a migraine for the past 3 days so I had to use old gpose for it

Third is the gpose of Durafein where he's holding a black fabric mask over his face as if he just put it in place and he's mostly in shadow but a band of light from a window is illuminating one of his crimson red eyes. The second row begins with ghost flowers. White stems curve at the top where a pale white bell shaped flower blooms. They're delicate and somber looking and are associated with mystery and death. The middle image which serves as the center of the panel is a gpose of Durafein in dark draped assassin attire hanging off the edge of a stone building by gripping a beveled ledge. He's holding a sword in his other hand, pointed downwards and cropped out of frame. The last image of this row features a closeup of a black viper snake coiled on a branch. The snakes are especially dangerous because they strike without warning. The first image in the last row is a cropped photo of white hair loosely pulled into a simple looped bun at the base of the neck which is an alternative way Durafein wears his hair when he needs it up. Bottom center is a long dark stone corridor with bands of light passing through archways giving a sense of depth with a pitch black arched stone doorway at the end of the hall. Me having to bluntly admit to my husband that he's one of only a handful of people who are ALLOWED to see me disheveled or emotional because I grew up around wealthy people and revealing weakness opens you up to social harm

Hi I'm a weirdo who journals my favorite gposes like it's the 00s or something

(I just got around to printing the text I'd made to fit the space lol)
A journal page that won't open flat because the journal is too stuffed at this point but even with a slight curve obscuring everything it's clear that there's three printed gposes dated 7/21/25 of a male Elezen in heavy silver and black armor with black angel wings. In the first printed pic he's standing alone holding a sword and shield with a white circle framing him against a grey background. Next to that is a print of the same character with a female Duskwight/Drow in his arms with her head rocked back and her eyes looking skyward. It's meant to be more Forgotten Realms "Drow" coded because in the space between the images there's a large sticker of a spider web with dew drops on it and small silver flowers with skulls in the center of the blooms decorate both images. Holo foil washi tape of a spider web underscores the first photo. Beneath that the text "And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides" is printed in two different distressed looking fonts. Beside that is a print of the armored character inclining his masked face towards the character in his arms and cupping her chin with his armored fingers. The bottom of the page is one long strip of spiderweb washi tape and a spider web sticker decorates the bottom of the last pic

The AU is ironically FFXIV. In that AU they're still from a subterranean city (ruled by great houses) & their house still falls but Durafein and Viedyn BOTH escape.

There's also no 'disguise' in the AU because Drow are (rightfully) feared but Duskwights are looked down on

so that felt ick

(slightly ooc reply) Genuinely every time I've heard someone pronounce Viedyn's name there's a split second where I think they mispronounced it and then I have to remind myself that I'm extraordinarily stupid and it's actually me who mispronounces his name wrong.
