The drama between Trump and Musk begs the question:

Why can’t billionaires be happy?

Because money isn’t everything.

They crave power. Attention. Adoration.

An introvert craves none of that stuff.

Introverts simply take satisfaction in a job well done.

To not want any power is true power.

Introvert overthinking after the party:

“Did I say something weird? Was I too quiet?”

Yes you did. Yes you were.

Who cares?

No one. Everyone else has moved on. Why not you?

The day you stop caring what other people think is the day you become a superstar. 😉🤟

Small talk is an introvert’s kryptonite. Ask me about the weather and I’ll stare at you like you just asked me to square dance.

Extroverts say, “Let’s hang out!” Introverts hear, “Let’s schedule a hostage situation.”

Sometimes people will say you’re “too quiet.” But if you take a closer look, you’ll see they’re fine with it if you’re quiet and compliant. It’s when you stick to your convictions that causes them to object. Stay strong. #QuietStrength

Group projects are why introverts believe in parallel universes. I’m here, but my soul’s already checked out to one with less talking.

If you need a kick in the ass to get moving, The War of Art by Steven Pressfield is a godsend.

Key takeaway: Dreams are just that—dreams—if you don’t treat them with the same time and energy you give at the day job.

If you can invest so much in someone else’s business, why not invest in you?

This book was put together as an afterthought. It’s a transcript of my Madness in the Mainstream presentation. Turns out I might’ve underestimated its value. Deaf education is on shaky ground (again). Share this with anyone who needs a healthy dose of deaf awareness.

I spent 23 years being a fake hearing person until I finally accepted (and embraced) my deaf identity.

But until I read ‘The Satisfied Introvert’, I didn’t know I had also spent five decades being a fake extrovert.

Awesome book. Check it out. 🤟

They say everyone has 7 doppelgängers. I may have found one. This guy looks like me, dresses like me, and behaves like me. Saw this ad first thing in the morning before I put my glasses on and actually freaked out for a second 🤣

A lot of talk about libraries going around so I might as well chip in.

As the only deaf kid in my school, there were plenty of times when I wanted to hide.

I did. In the library. It was the ultimate safe space. Books kept me company when no one else would.

It’s what made me who I am today. 🤟
