Decolonial feminist work begins where we are—in all the spaces we occupy. It cannot stay confined to texts we read/write. It must expose and heal colonial patterns of power and logics of fragmentation—inviting us into new ways of sensemaking, unmaking, remaking—and building coalitions.

These moments are filled with such potentiality—making a syllabus; researching to find and then inviting the right person to teach a class. The notes being creativity, boldness, world-making.

The Human Resources dept in an organization is oriented ideally to employee well-being & empowerment. There is a cost to moving towards an org culture that does not value these aspects & sees HR practices as outsourceable instead of integrated with the soul of an organization.

The loudest objections to the cutting of 1,700 trees to build a "Sadhugram" for the Kumbh Mela in Nashik should come from the sadhus themselves—who would the sadhus have learned from in the absence of the forests of old?

Generated AI plants are thriving online, with fake "seeds" selling on Amazon - people gravitating to impossible flora while real plants vanish. We're enchanted with simulacra as actual biodiversity disappears.

The work of re-enchanting the euroamerican academy cannot happen without sincerely engaging with the unfinished task of decolonizing it; the work of re-enchanting ourselves cannot happen without sincerely engaging with the unfinished task of decolonizing ourselves.

Found myself balking at the throughline of conformity and the favoring of centralized governance over emergent self-organization that lay in the first two "Investigations of Mossa and Pleiti" books. My kind of sci-fi would show us a path out of the fears that mire present-day sociological phenomena.
