Lawrence O Donnell is not having your anti Schumer nonsense

Lawrence is right- Bernie still talks a good game about overturning the “establishment” but he’s not stepping up to lead the Senate because he knows he couldn’t do the job.

‼️ Mexico's first woman president, Claudia Sheinbaum, just announced she's pressing charges after being groped in the street:

“If they do this to the president, what happens to all the women in our country?”

Trump pardoning his rapist mob is such an abuser move. He fucked democrats up the Tim Kaine and now he’s doing a post violence revenge tour.

“Within this amorphous framework, men’s biggest problem is, likewise, a feeling—an unreachable itch, or a marrow-deep belief—that men should still rank above women in the social hierarchy, just not as much as before.”

But Dick Durham and Maggie Hassan believe in normal channels.
A Reagan-appointed judge resigned in order to speak out.

Here's why: “President Donald Trump is using the law for partisan purposes, targeting his adversaries while sparing his friends and donors from investigation, prosecution, and possible punishment.” 🎁link:

Democrats who voted on that think they’ll get Maga support later.

The Democrats who voted to end the shutdown seem overrepresented on the Senate Appropriations committee.

Imagine if Joe Biden had let 10 percent of commercial planes be grounded. I guess the Maga pilots don’t care but there will be economic ripple effects for everyone else.

The answer to literally anything they say now should be YOU SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT TO HIDE THE EPSTEIN FILES and just leave the room.

👇🎯 The problem with the Court acting procedurally as it always has is that the authoritarians in the WH are acting in bad faith & don't follow either process or law. Also, kids are hungry.

Today in "neither our media nor our political system is designed to deal with a far right authoritarian party"
Not sure I entirely understand this - IANAL - but it seems to me that the decision should have been "Sit down, shut up, and send the SNAP money out."

Maybe they'll get there, but this is not a good look.
I think what is happening here is that Jackson is doing the 48hr pausing so the First Circuit (hopefully) declines to place a stay pending appeal (which would be a longer stay) and then the Court will be in the tougher position of delaying SNAP for a longer stay period.

Schumer did a smart thing by making this shut down about healthcare and then making his one year offer expire right before the midterms so that healthcare will again be on the agenda. It’s a popular issue with Americans that everyone can relate to.

The government is violating the constitutional separation of powers by saying it’s a violation of the separation of powers. To feed the poor.

Paging whitevangelical Christians.
