In a white supremacist and capitalist society you don’t get what you deserve, you get what you demand. Reflecting on Malcolm as we head toward the new Trump era.

This is the challenge of the next four years. It’s not enough to be “just” an academic. Activist intellectuals are needed to bring liberatory education to the people so they won’t get stuck at being on the oppressors team!

My wife did a great media project on the Sound track of our lives tracing the music that reflects our struggle over the past seven decades. I’m proud of what she is doing as a “non-traditional” student returning to school!
