There are probably a lot of people out there (not on BlueSky) who don’t even know what is going on in Minnesota. Shutting down the gov’t for a few days in protest might get the attention of some people who would care but avoid news content even if it doesn’t defund ICE.

A reminder that the crime ICE is theoretically enforcing is foreign people working without proper visas (or overstaying a visa). They shouldn’t be armed at all. They should be handing out fines for this minor labor law violation, probably to the employers.

If there are thousands (?) of FBI staff working on redacting the Epstein files, there must be written guidelines on who gets redacted and who doesn't (e.g. Clinton), right? If it's being done fairly and reasonably, we get to see those guidelines, right?

Mamdani won with the message "I will help you by opening grocery stores" and voters resonated with the "help you" part more that the "grocery store" details.

You guys know that tariffs are taxes right? Weird to see R's suddenly all excited about raising taxes on people. Even weirder to not see anybody pointing this out.
