My amazing undergrad, Youness, is doing fantastic work with his comedy-based improv intervention! Check out Haha Helps on Instagram!!!
He was homeless and stealing food to survive. Now he’s teaching kids how to heal from trauma — with improv.

The Brampton man’s program helps youth analyze how their upbringing and experiences have shaped their emotions, and fuses comedy and psychology.

I put on an old episode of The Big Bang Theory instead of catching up on the Traitors US because I have to finish a lecture that I'm giving tomorrow. Responsibility level? 1000.

Hen House Eatery in Minneapolis. Very blunt. Very honest. Very delicious. No food pics cause it was too delicious to take the time to document. #SupportLocal #Travel #Postdoc #Brunch #SRCD25

#SRCD25 was a success!

I chaired my first symposium and had amazing conversations with colleagues in the field. Looking forward to #SRCD27!

Looking forward to #SRCD25 this week! I'm chairing my first symposium bright and early Thursday morning. The papers examine different markers of adversity and biology that influence development of emotion regulation across childhood. Hope to see you there!

Fellow researchers!

Has anyone ever used Eisenberg's puzzle box in their own research? If so, what kind of a puzzle did you use? Thank you in advance! #developmentalpsychology #postdoc #research

10/10 do recommend streaming #WaltDisneyWorld resort TV while working from home. You get the Disney instrumental music in the background with the feeling of happiness like you're at Disney World. @disneyparks.bsky.social

If you teach in a building on campus that has a Subway in it and your students go to Subway when you give them a break, it is reasonable to make it a rule that your students have to bring you back a little treat, right? #postdoc

Finishing up the slides for my dissertation proposal tomorrow afternoon. The ambiance of my Christmas Tree made this late night work enjoyable. That and the fun title and theme for my dissertation #MayTheForceBeWithYou

With @rochephd.bsky.social and Martha Ann Bell, we used this paper to demonstrate that the LPFS is a useful measure of personality in non-clinical maternal samples. Give it a read!
