Today is World Kindness Day. I will forever be grateful for the kindness shown to me by friends, family, & strangers online during my husband’s 6 year battle with cancer and after his passing in March. Helping others in need not only shows them kindness, but improves your own mental health as well.

My wife has smoldering multiple myeloma (previously mgus) and although she is monitored in AK, we are looking to switch her primary care closer to home (previously MD Anderson in Houston) for when the time comes she needs it - has any one had experience with Fred Hutch Cancer Center in Seattle?

FYI, the new CDC vaccine schedule is complete bullshit. There is no new evidence to recommend these changes and removing important vaccines from a universal recommendation list will only put children at risk for serious infections that are preventable.

As a fan there are more important things in life than football. I’ll get over it.
It’s the players I feel for. Especially rookie kicker Tyler Loop. The whole weight of the season should not have been on his shoulders.

Every year I see many families decline the flu shot and as hard as I try to impress upon them that the flu is dangerous and not a cold, it doesn’t seem to resonate. The flu is not a joke and kills healthy kids every year. The vast majority of pediatric flu deaths are in unvaccinated kids.
I've seen so many kids this season with flu - thankfully none among the deaths so far this year. Most of the sickest aren't vaccinated. Either they usually get vaccinated but didn't get around to it this year or they never get the flu vaccine because they thought flu was just a cold. It's not.

Happy 2026! The train I boarded had an engine failure 10 minutes into the trip. We waited over an hour with no service to be towed back to the station by the rescue squad. But all the fans around us made it fun. Shout out to whoever started playing BOTT once we got moving 😂.

OMG I heard it! I was just in the Subway and heard the ad. He said read the book! I think everyone around me thought I was crazy for how excited I was.
