Working with Polybio team to dissect the inflammatory components dysregulated in #LongCovid. We use minimally invasive #salivacollection (compared to blood of course) and shotgun proteomics to investigate the molecular markers to monitor the disease.
2/ Currently, PolyBio is supporting Dr. Freire in his work on biomarkers in oral cavity in Long Covid—including immune, clotting, microbiome & viral proteins. The team is using shotgun proteomics to identify innate immune & clotting dysfunction in saliva. Read more: polybio.org/projects/lon...
