The targeting of federal government employees telework policies is political zealotry at best, and it does not coincide with lessons learned from telework policies during COVID.

It’s actually quite simple. If your employees are happy they will be motivated to work harder.

I’m a little late to the party but better late than never.

For the last decade I have lived in Northern Virginia and I have made it a point to visit the Vietnam Memorial the week before Veterans Day.

Why the Vietnam Memorial, and why a week before?

Someone asked about the mass Xodus of scientists to Blue Sky. Here is a great explanation. It is great to be able to share scientific findings, intellectual discussions, critical analysis and interact with fellow scholars. NO to bots. NO to trolls. NO to algorithms set by an egotistical man-child!
Elon Musk's War Against Science, Evidence and Objective Truth
Scientists are abandoning Elon Musk's Twitter amid a "mass extinction event" on the social media network, says Philipp Markolin.

It’s going to be fun watching Ukraine decimate the already decimated Russian logistical chain.

A lot of Russian and NK soldiers are about to freeze and starve to death.

The good news for NK soldiers is that they will have an unlimited supply of online pornography while they wait.

About time!
Breaking news: President Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine to use a powerful American long-range weapon for limited strikes inside Russia in response to North Korea’s deployment of thousands of troops to aid Moscow’s war effort, according to U.S. officials.
Biden approves Ukraine’s use of long-range U.S. weapons inside Russia, reversing policy
The Biden administration will allow Kyiv “limited” use of the ATACMS long-range missile system to strike enemy positions in Kursk, a significant reversal of U.S. policy.

Not to mention the tactical, operational, and leadership void that all this will create at the worst possible time when US advisories are actively expanding into sovereign countries.

I hope Americans have the stomach for body bags.

Just wait until he realizes that the EM radiation provided by the sun is orders of magnitude higher in intensity than the emissions from a wifi antenna, and that the sun propagates EM radiation on the ionizing side of the spectrum.

How is this person fit to run a scientific organization?

I learned the lessons of authoritarian rule from my grandparents, and parents who lived and fled Cuba after the 1959 revolution.

Musk and Trump are using a similar playbook and amplifying it by directly influencing social media algorithms to condition the masses that techbro authoritarians are ok.
