Book bans aren’t just about content—they’re about erasing identities.

Censorship silences stories that deserve to be told. Let’s fight for a rich variety of voices and the freedom to read.

Folks who do work in education, teacher education, schools, with youth, and in communities…think should also think about this…
You cannot take these pundits seriously. Chris Cuomo was just railing against Columbia and tax dollars and elite this and that. He went to private school K-12 and attended Yale. Any of these conservatives or moderates who don’t talk about their own schooling first should be ignored.

Gavin Newsom leading the way for Democrats to sacrifice trans athletes for their own electoral ambitions instead of making an affirmative case for their presence.

Don’t Listen to Greasy Gavin Newsom. Listen to Trans Athletes.
In a podcast with Charlie Kirk, the California governor put his electoral ambition ahead of trans people. But what do trans athletes themselves have to say?

This is disappointing. Joann wasn’t perfect, but it was an entry point to crafting for so many. I blame Amazon for this.
Joann, the fabrics and crafts retailer that has supplied quilters, seamstresses and school projects for 80 years, announced that it would close down all of its stores in the latest chapter of financial tumult for the company.

The announcement that the chain would close all 800 of its stores in 49 states comes after a period of financial turmoil.
