I feel alone in my belief that managers bullying suicidal staff in the NHS is wrong.

No-one in the @royalberkshospital.bsky.social Trust has acknowledged that very basic aspect of human morality.

Whilst bullying within NHS Trusts like the @royalberkshospital.bsky.social is known about and accepted as a feature of cultural toxicity.

It remains morally wrong. Morally corrupt.

Before she threatened me and bullied others out of an NHS Trust, an NHS Deputy Head of Clinical Engineering said to me

"I need to run the workshop like a battery farm!"

"We need to make the data look good for people higher up"

A Technical Services Manager in the @royalberkshospital.bsky.social said to me

"You need to learn to lie more to get ahead"

He said that whilst sitting next to someone from HR. I was trying to raise patient safety concerns and would not lie.

2 years ago I attempted suicide as a result of bullying in the Royal Berkshire Hospital. After I was discharged from a psychiatric hospital I write to the CEO requesting a meeting, but instead was threatened with legal action.

All of the choices I made were made out of compassion for others. To civic duty. To patient safety. I was never concerned about my self, my reputation, my finances or personal security. Because cvic duty calls us to transcend those things.
