Just met with a student via Zoom and shared my screen. On one of the tabs is "Prue Leith's Stripy Swiss Roll Recipe," so I think I've solidified my identity as a cool millennial.

Prepping for my League of Extraordinary Gentlemen adaptation class by rewatching the movie. I remember seeing this was the first Sean Connery movie I watched 😂

The original "he stole her" tape was audio only, but now there's video, and it's far creepier.
Trump: People were taken out of the spa, hired by Epstein… I told him we don’t want you taking our people, whether it’s spa or not spa. He did it again, I said out of here.

Reporter: Was one of the stolen people Virginia Giuffre?

Trump: I think so. He stole her.

Working on a new script for the podcast after a year(?). The next couple of episodes will examine other Victorian true crime stories (Constance Kent and Maria Manning) and their fictional afterlives. Don't really have a plan, but hoping for the best!

Combing through Jack the Ripper dime novels for a project. Lord Jacquelin Burkney (1889) and Jack the Ripper in New York (1889) pictured below. Not great scans, but fascinating #victorian
