Morning coffee and TikTok, was how I got all the news. Remember when it took your parents hours to read the paper and have their coffee? Now I wonder maybe that’s why they went the way of certain legacy media after physical media went away? Also why they want TikTok banned.

Everyday there’s a new data breach for some company or other. Now it’s schools but ok TikTok is the problem.

First Christmas at home. I usually spend Christmas Eve with my son and his family and come home in the morning. Was too sick to go. This whole Holiday season has been weird and meh.

Last time Cheeto was pres I immersed myself in news. Always waiting for the show to really drop. He’s not even officially in office and I’m exhausted. I see what’s to come and I don’t see a way out of it.

Happily announced to my son it’s the longest night of the year. He’s reply, really it’s the solstice so it’s the 21st. The fact he knew made me happy. He does listen as I babble on about things.

Got my kittens at a shelter a few months ago. They were around 3mo. I often wonder what they went through. They have no interest in the Xmas decorations or boxes of any kind. I have to watch how my hands come at them or they scatter. But they seem to be lap cats so I’m happy.
