Packers fans rightfully buoyed by Brock Purdy news. But, I can’t help thinking about what LaFleur did with Malik Willis. Shanahan is smart like that. Key factor is how MLF offense cooks with Bosa on the shelf. Can 49ers keep up?

Congrats to Pat Murphy, voted NL Manager of the Year tonight. I was one of the 27 BBWAA voters to rank him first on the ballot. Though it makes any hack cringe to invite cries of “Homer,” I couldn’t come up with a single reason not to vote for Murph.
