MASTER OF THE DREAM.

The 107,336 souls of the Oak Family have dreamed of this moment too many times...

One hundred and thirty-seven individuals: that is how many heathens I have exiled since I became Dreammaster. Among them, were those who once severed my wings, and those who immolated my body...
“Let's see, actually. Sit!”

Come here, puppy.

( Is that truly the reason? Let's hope not, for Robin's sake. )

from the ceiling.

“I do not recall inviting someone else to this meeting. It is utterly rude to intrude like that, have you not been taught that before?”

His tone held no animosity, however, he was simply informing the other.

“Are you alright?”

“..surely, you understa—” He stopped mid sentence with his cup still raised in front of a propped up book, holding it from falling down even if the portrait of a scientist he was talking to was horizontal. Fixing his glasses with the other hand, he focused on the strange individual that just fell

He's repotting it first thing.
January 10, 2025 at 5:12 PM
( Off he walks, cactus in one hand, a cup of tea still floating behind him. What a view. )
‍ ‍‍ ‍
Until we meet again.

( He picks it up. Seems there's a lot he needs to learn again, a fleeting memory of a once great figure. He isn't sure where he would even go now. )

Goodbye, Gallagher.
‍ ‍‍ ‍
You just have to concentrate on the feeling that you have a hand. Usually we don't think about it.

I think we're done here. Thank you for the... gift.

( He tries to pick up the pot, but his hand goes right through it at first. Tsk. )
‍ ‍‍ ‍
On the contrary it is beyond sad to witness this all.
‍ ‍‍ ‍
You think it's funny? ..Go away, dog.
January 10, 2025 at 4:45 PM
( Slightly lifting his brows, his lips get even thinner than before. )

Perhaps you should stay silent then.
January 10, 2025 at 4:43 PM
You think it's funny? ..Go away, dog.
‪ ‍ ‍‍ ‍
No, I haven't thought yet how to rewrite it. Might use something more funnier than this simple lie.
‍ ‍‍ ‍
What a bold implication. So it was me, Dreammaster, who made people the way they are, me, who created this psychology you speak of? I made them such and then allowed my boy to deal with this — is that the story your friends in fiction want to write in the annals?
January 10, 2025 at 4:37 PM
And what's the idea behind you making dinner for the hound, my boy? Tell me I'm missing something here.

( Fixing his glasses. )

I can imagine a parent who left debts to their child as an inheritance saying the same words.

You cannot always hold their hand. Every bird needs to fly away from its parents' nest. I held utmost trust in his ability to figure it out.

You're an awful father for that, Gophie.
‍ ‍‍ ‍
Well, that was for my boy to deal with, not for me.

It is in human's nature to be wanting more and more. As we get used to bad things, we also get used to good things and they stop seeming good. You can't fight nature in this way without taking into account human psychology. You'd have to give all these greedy people more and more good --

Instead, this heaven was to be bestowed upon everyone, even the sinners. Equality in happiness. I'd say this was even better.

They imagine the heaven to be the reward for their good behavior and still, they think they will have a free will here because are not able the spoilt the heaven in their opinion.
‍ ‍‍ ‍
Is this not how humanity envisions heavens?
January 10, 2025 at 3:32 PM
It's frustrating that none can comprehend what our grand goal was. Such thoughts seemingly can't fit into their small skulls.

‍ ‍‍ ‍
How would it fix it? Stagnation and the absence of choice kill the core of what we know of humanity. These would be dolls, not humans.
‍ ‍‍ ‍
Yes, it does. Yet you still worked to prevent Sunday from fixing it. What a hypocritical dog you are.

The society defines many shitty rules as well.
‍ ‍‍ ‍
Naturally, the inventor and the society in general.

Naturally, the inventor and the society in general.
‍ ‍‍ ‍
But who defines what's the proper way? People should have a choice how to use things.
‍ ‍‍ ‍
Well, /I/ don't like the tie this way, so of course. Things should be used the proper way, always.
