Thinker, trader, writer, recluse, hearing impaired, and somewhat of an asshole apparently. I care about my dog, my cat, my family, husband, and friends. Be considerate. Treat everyone kindly unless a holy reckoning is needed. He/him.
I'm convinced that people who hate THAC0 found subtraction too hard. All kidding aside, I do like the D20 system too. #THAC0 #D&D

An elderly woman in a wheelchair, filling out her 2024 ballot, rolling by and cheering, laughing showing everyone the big box she had filled for Trump. Others laughing and applauding as she submits her paper ballot to the vote counting machine. She wheels herself to the elevator, alone.

"And people who have no hope are easy to control." -The Wolf Beast in The Never Ending Story.

"And that's what we do, we take the hope away." Donald J Trump when referring to the Immigrants coming to our border during his first term in office. Those were his exact words.

The Musk apologists are now saying the Roman salute was used in the original Star Trek--usually with a gif or image. I pointedly inform them that they should watch the episode because that is the EVIL version of Spock and Kirk from the episode Mirror Mirror! IE, the salute is associated with evil.

ABCNews announces Marco Rubio is Secretary of State. This is the man who did nothing to help Parkland Students in the wake of a school shooting--all while Fox pundits and friends labelled them crisis actors. He can't help 15 year old kids; so, he certainly isn't fit to be Sec of State.

Some say there are no stupid questions. I'd venture to say that there are some stupid questions, and they usually come at the very tail end of online meetings after we have wrapped up the session twice now and tried to leave, but someone has "just another thought...."

I'm merely pointing out that if in 1972, Fisher Price was mindful and apolitical enough to create this toy wearing a mask for health and safety, anti-covid(ers) could have done the same thing in 2020-2021.

White christian nationalists planning to take over small town to wield vast influence in local policy. Right in my backyard. Damn.

I have discovered that the iced coffee setting on my keurig makes a nice cup of cold coffee (albeit a bit harsher) than the time it takes to make my coldbrew. And since I add a lot of love (sugar, coca, milk, etc.); well, I hardly notice the difference.

In 1993, I marched in Washington DC for gay and lesbian right with the WKU Lambda Society. The "gay 90s" hadn't happened yet. Bigotry and violence was rampant, with students in my honors classes not talking to me, or acting shocked at my coming out. How far we've come! @wkuhilltoppers.bsky.social

Where's my 2nd edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Players? Almost...I can't believe it's been this long!.....8 years ago I created an AD&D Monstrous Manual Entry for Trump. No one has given feedback...and I'd love some opinions. I'm also thinking of expanding the project.

Kindness is strength, valor, patience, and courage. And to those that think not, they have never had to take care of an ailing loved one in their golden years day after day, look after siblings after a parent has passed, or spoken defiantly towards someone who ridiculed others.

10% cap on credit cards *sounds* great, but I continued to be astonished at people's inability to forecast policy implications. The net effect would be credit card companies declining more applications as they would be unwilling to take on more debt for unsecured loans at lower rates.

I feel like all my posts on X are deliberately hidden and unseen. This wasn't the case seven or eight months ago. But now....with the way things are over there....I think its to be expected that people of a certain ideology aren't welcome.

I just finished a 3 day binge on the now renamed X, formerly twitter. It was the loudest echo chamber filled with hate speech I've ever entered. It was thoroughly exhausting. Uninformed, and stupid. The algos pushed more and more fringe alt-right conspiracies towards me. I'm out.
February 22, 2024 at 7:43 PM
Gobbless, my Twitter is completely alt-right garbage. Are we just self segregating into two echo chambers now?
February 12, 2024 at 7:15 PM
Ugh, Twitter is a toxic dump. Thank goodness I'm here!
