Something strange Ive noticed is that the unpleasant smell of something directly correlates to how well that substance harbors life. A bad smell typically comes from an organic source that can harbor bacteria that probably lead to that smell, yet some chemicals that are toxic and deadly smell sweet.

At my local college’s open mic, speakers either read from their own work or a published book. One speaker was restless during others’ performances. When it was his turn, he mumbled a verse from a psalm book and left immediately.

He was also wearing a maga hat.

This is what I saw when I was in DC, the day after Election Day.

Here are some pictures I took these last two weeks. I took the train out of Montana and went on to see Chicago, DC, New York and Seattle, and I got to see the best parts of the east coast that I previously haven’t. I was even in DC for Election Day, which was really fun until it wasn’t.

Politics are important, now more than ever. But to be honest, I really hate talking about politics because it seems that you’re either arguing with a cockroach or you’re reminded of the horrible world we exist in.

So, I’ve been bouncing around different apps that are similar to formerly twitter, like Threads and Bluesky. I haven’t really been posting on here or threads, but a lot of serial posting on twitter has resulted in me feeling much more cynical and emotionally bankrupt.

I haven’t drawn anything in ages. I bought new Apple Pencil tips but any time I feel like sketching something nothing comes about.

I’m planning a trip to Chicago and New York in a few weeks and I’m on the hunt for the best pizza spots in each city. Any recommendations from the locals would be super helpful!
