Independent bottlings of Dutch whisky are rare, but every once in a while something from #Millstone pops up. Most recently a 9-year-old single malt – matured in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butt and bottled by @drammorgroup.bsky.social

11 yo white port Staoisha

Nose: smokey digestive biscuits, milkybar, tangerine

Palate: thick. Lovely chocolate, mint, smoke is muted like the smell on your clothes the morning after the fire, a hint of lemon refresher bar
Finish: long and warm 😋

Was lucky enough to get a few @drammorgroup.bsky.social samples recently. They included this Dailuaine refill bourbon 13yo

Nose: rich vanilla, strawberry cheesecake, hint of almond

Palate: sweet vanilla, lemon, a hint of coffee, cake

Overall it's a lovely example of the distillery output at 55.1%

Next in our Spring 2025 Release is Balblair 14yo @53.1% in 1st Fill PX QR. It showcases desiccated raisins, plums&juicy dark fruit that burst on your tongue. Cracking long finish with dark fruit compote and treacle tart that keeps going and going. To try at Pot Still, Glasgow. Slainte!
