Spent last Sunday painting 32mm Tusken raiders. I'm prepping for future sessions of WEG's Star Wars RPG. Bought lots of minis and then realised I need to assemble and paint them. Great details though, and an easy surface to paint on. Still got a bit of touching up to do. Next: Guavian death gang.

September update – what’s new with the Dragon Slayers?

It's September and we're still playing Spawn of Azathoth. In fact the players are only halfway through. This is a real campaign.

@neilnewbon.bsky.social hey, what's the blandest thing on the menu?
Just watched an old sketch of yours.

I recognise the actor playing the waiter. Neil Newbon. He plays the voice of Astarion in Baldurs Gate 3.

There's trouble in Saint Augustine, Florida. PCs are split. One in hospital. One in jail. Three in ghoul tunnels. One lost at sea. They're now in deep doo-doo.
Did you play this adventure? How did it go for you? Was it fun? Did uou change anything?

Received a copy of B4.5 Beyond the Lost City adventure module today. This item elaborates on specific areas in the original module that were left for the DM to do. Postal charges from the USA had been hiked up. Thanks to Bad Mike's Comics and Games!

They should have given her a normal everyday sword. Her skill with it is more important, isn't it? Directors always let us down with silly looking things. They must know there's people out there like us watching and rolling our eyes.

Yeah, but if your enemy bleeds they'll die.

Strong cast. I'm not needing eye candy. Interesting characters. Vision of Earth completely owned by corporations is terrifying. I agree... there's more to the tale than meets the eye.

I'm really hooked by the first 2 eps. Decent characters, and a scenario of competing corporations in search of immortality. What can go wrong?

Budgie's book The Absence has arrived. Such a sad start to his tale. Really looking forward to meeting him in Bath on Monday. Last met him during the launch of Superstition in 1991. IMO, the world's best drummer. #budgie #theabsence #bath #siouxsieandthebanshees #thecreatures #therapy

Please donate a small amount to Dragon Slayers and receive a free hi res digital artwork by artist John Swogger.

This image is called "A Private Collection", and based on a zoo of Lovecraftian horrors. This is John's vision of an Lloigor.

It was great, but felt sorry for some of the stall staff who didn't know the games they were selling better than their gaming customers. Modiphius was one example.
