The night is suddenly filled with thunder
Lightning is flashing off an angry sea.
Hailstones rattle on the slates, sharp, hard.

I was sat in the porch and there was an almighty bang- poor sparrowhawk fluffed his fight path. Was still breathing so I let him rest and after about 10 mins he gave me a dirty look when I checked on him and flew off just fine -phew!

Well@I had hoped the mizzle and cloud would clear but no. So last nights clear then hazy almost full moon as the clouds gathered.
