Was told I was being unnecessarily reactive when, on the morning after the elections, I chose to sell my home, move into a rental and free up my equity and my options.
So far, no real regrets. Only gratitude for my freedom…or at least the illusion of it. For now.

Had my hair professionally colored for the first time in many years today. Kept the gray but added some lowlights to make it look more intentional and less like a bird’s nest.
Re-entry to the hometown brings with it my old mantra of never letting them see me lose my self-confidence or my shine. ♌️

I must admit, I’ve been prepping. I’ve never before purchased food and supplies in preparation for predicted shortages but this time feels different - Less like panic and more like preparedness.
