A key theme of the game's mechanics is angles and circles, because they give variety in how you interact with them - slide down slopes to gain speed, bounce from bubbles at just the right angle; it all ends up feeling quite tactile and fluid.

I don't know if the game I'm working on will have cutscenes, but I made one to test things out. I like the result but animating was pretty tedious. Might still use this technique if I decide to go for a small amount of cutscenes

I've kept the possibility of making a mobile version of Phobos Down open. Touchscreen controls already exist. The biggest hurdle is UI scaling, but that doesn't look too hard to solve..
