Our new mini-comic is out - “Bad Day”. The main character is a girl named Oksi. She's going through one of those days that keep crashing over her again and again after some deeply traumatic events.
Usually I talk about comics that caught my eye, but today let’s do the opposite. Tell me about your favorites. What have you been reading lately? What did you enjoy?

A few mini-comics ago, we decided to start making covers for each story. So far there are only 3, but they all look pretty cool

And while I was looking for the right files, I realized that I really need to tidy up my working documents - in some places everything seems fine, but in others...

When I started reading Aristotle, it seemed to me that his language lacked richness and complexity. And now, finally, it turns out that I was right - at least partially.

Happy New Year!

For many people, this day is associated with celebration, but there are also those for whom it isn’t - and our new one-page comic is about them. Some people experienced a loss on this very day, some are alone and for others it’s simply a working day.

I was cleaning up space on iCloud and dug up some old sketches from the peaceful beginning of 2022. That’s how @vivilisi.bsky.social and I started working together. So much has happened over the past few years!

There are only a few days left until the New Year, so let this be a kind of summary.

I’ve been working on comics for a long time, but all this time I’ve barely focused on building a community of people interested in my work. Of course, it’s possible to work

I was looking at @vivilisi.bsky.social course assignments while she was studying and caught myself thinking that it might be time for me to pull myself together - mentally (and financially, too) - and learn something new again. I looked through different options, weighed them up, and

On the eve of the New Year, it’s the perfect time to revisit our mini-comic about preparing delicious dishes. How much food do you usually make for your New Year’s table?

I watched "In the Lost Lands". Knowing who the director is, I wasn’t expecting anything special. Yes, the film’s quality leaves much to be desired, but still…

Deliberation is a new word I learned while reading Aristotle. It refers to the process of careful discussion and weighing arguments “for” and “against.”

Merry Christmas

It's Christmas, my dudes!

Here, just an old illustration of a character from one of our comics.

@vivilisi.bsky.social latest works from her color theory course. I hope she’ll be able to apply the skills she’s gained in our next comics.

I haven’t talked about our older comics in a while. This one, and many others from that period, I started with the mindset: “Let’s begin, and we’ll figure out where the events lead as we go". Of course, the events didn’t really lead anywhere 😅

I was scrolling through my feed today and, on one of the images, I mistakenly read Santa Claus as Santa Claws. Now Christmas will definitely be associated with crabs for me 🦀🎄

Everything is good in moderation. Too much or too little is bad - though this “measure” is different for each person. For the same quantity, what is a deficiency for one person may be an excess for another. In Aristotle’s idea, I really dislike this amorphousness: do good deeds well, and bad

Next year, I’m planning to play the earlier Divinity games as well.

Fun fact: the upcoming Divinity game will be the 7th in the series, and there has never been a game simply called Divinity before. However, there was Divinity II, which, despite the name, was not the 2nd game but actually the 3rd

It’s Wednesday, my dudes! Are you already ready for the holidays?

The last week of studies by @vivilisi.bsky.social , and then we're getting back to the comic at 100%

I’ve been so buried in work that I almost forgot to make a post.Skip it once and next thing you know -I’ll vanish for half a year 🙂

By “buried in work” I mean working on the comic. The script is finished, storyboarding is up next, and after that, almost everything will be in @vivilisi.bsky.social hands

A new study piece by @vivilisi.bsky.social - the artist I work with on my comics.

I thought I’d finish writing the script for a new mini-comic in a week, but I didn’t. Work happened… So for now, here are some character sketches.

"Dark Spaces: Wildfire" is a great example of a comic that practically begs to be adapted for the big screen. A realistic, intense story full of passion, conflict, and intrigue. A female firefighting squad made up of inmates is sent to put out a forest fire…

Today I’ll be a bit lazy and just give you a quote from Aristotle’s Ethics:

Everything we have from nature we receive at first only as potential, and later we bring it into actuality.
