Every time I watch a new installment of this Gen 9 Pokémon anime, I’m reminded that the company announced the starters and went dead silent on them since they KNEW the online backlash about Sprigatito’s [eventual] evolutions designs had validity, but also chose it to be their pushed Gen 9 starter
