I think I used the wrong terminology. This is entry level. First level. Beginning level SOC analyst. I am looking at people finishing school, maybe have some intern work. Or people looking to change roles into infosec, who can use their organizational and communication skillz.
I am hiring a tier 1 SOC analyst. Remote. In TX or AZ preferred, 99% working from home. Expanding our internal InfoSec team. Mainly covering alert management and documentation. Expand from there based on the candidate’s abilities and career goals.

I complete this art with one type of ballpoint pen. The ballpoint pen is a cheap product that does not produce ink easily, so in that situation I can draw a wide range of shades of line art. I intentionally use cheap pens.

Started reading the Artist Way (I’ve had it for year)It’s a great book for anyone trying to get in touch with their creative side. Part of it is starting to write 3 pages as a sort of diary/ journal to clear your mind do you have more room for creativity. I’m excited to read more. WooHoo!

Winter storm warning in Texas. Texas is shutting down tomorrow. My dentist office is closed and the school has already decided to be closed. Great! If we get to see snow, that would be cool, I guess.

Just got my sleep tests in. They diagnosed me with narcolepsy. So that’s why I have a hard time being awake the last nine years or so. On to getting the right medicine to live a normal life. A life, I think I’ve forgotten what that’s like.
