Sympathies and solidarity. :/ my own clever (cowardly) solution is to just not have my hair cut at all for the past few decades apart from asking a partner to kindly give the ends an occasional trim to keep them even. I'm not sure if it's a perfect solution but it demonstrates my shared frustration!
