After a beautiful restorative weekend with people I love, where i purposely didn't look at my phone and actually connected with things around me - this Monday feels much less grim ✨

Also; there's no situation that isn't made immediately some percentage of better when you add tea 🫖☕

Seeing the Crash Test Dummies last night with my folks at the Northcote Theatre was easily one of the best gigs I've ever been to.

Brad Roberts' voice is just as astounding and incredible live as it was in the 90's - every band member blew me away

When I use hand tools, I think about how different the daily sounds were in our pre-industrial world: the rhythmic sound of a handsaw or the dull thud of corn being ground in a pestle or the terrified cries of city counselors being defenestrated from the windows of a castle etc
