Located in the courtyard, it creates the impression of a long gallery, despite being only 8.82 meters in actual length. Borromini achieved this effect through the use of diminishing columns and a sloping floor

The former Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in #Barcelona was built to plans by Lluís Domènech I Montaner between 1901 and 1930. Composed of many independent pavilions, it is the world's largest complex built in #ArtNouveau style.
