This week was really stressful then I read a post on r/ExecutiveAssistants by a woman on business travel to Germany. After a series of mistakes & trying to catch up she got so overwhelmed she excused herself from the meeting, went to her hotel, and resigned via email. With 3 days left on the trip.

Minor grievance in the big picture, but getting notice that certain State OSAC committees were eliminated as part of the new EO sucks. Women in Security was a fantastic resource for global info sharing among members — public & private sector — and not a ✌🏻wasteful✌🏻 DEI program.

It was a hectic week wrapping up work travel, but the highlight was the guy one row in front on a night flight with his laptop screen *blindingly* bright and the zoom large enough that I was able to figure out that he's the GC for the world's largest cybersec firm.

Bonay is a Very Good Dog™️ who has been in a foster home since December 2023. His foster was tragically killed in the storm, so he needs new placement ASAP. BARC is at critical capacity and he deserves to be in another home after everything that's happened.

It's been a 2 weeks with taking over fostering a momma + 3 puppies from someone and having to bottle feed them through FTT and eventually losing them (the litter was originally 11, none survived 💔) then momma (Elizabeth) getting mastitis *and then* Kate having HW injections. #phew #lolsob
