Dead Island was and still is the best zombie game ever made. Been playing it again on my Steam Deck and it’s an absolute blast even this many years later.

The whole discussion about player falloff after any game has been out for a month is just completely asinine. Every game experiences this with the exception being live service games that have waves of usage every time a new season releases.

Something that annoys me about modern gaming is the whole Early Access argument against criticism.
This is especially true with games that have been in early access for years with zero plans at ever releasing a full product.
In all honesty early access should be criticism time for games.

I used to think that I just didn’t really like platformers but more recently I’m starting to realize it’s just that the platformers I grew up playing just weren’t actually all that good.
There are exceptions:
Contra
Super Mario Bros
Sonic
Etc
But many others were just bad…really…really…bad.

If you want the MySpace feel just lock yourself in a neon colored room while playing midi versions of the most annoying songs your friends love. Then I need to to obsess and stress about the number 8 way more than is healthy for anyone to do.

It's such a common comment that people make about MMOs. Like one I was looking at the top comments were that the game is fun once you finished the story and maxed out your character. Which at minimum was around 120 hours. Like...wtf?

If you ever say anything along the lines of "You need to play at least 100 hours for the game to really get good" then you're describing a bad game.

At some point we convinced ourselves that MMORPGs were good games while simply ignoring that they play worse than any other games on the market.

I think my favorite recipes on YouTube are the ones titled “Amazing Dessert Only 3 Ingredients?!?!” That then go on to list 47 insanely hard to find ingredients.

Here Comes the Pain and Shut Your Mouth are two classic wrestling games that the years haven’t touched at all. They are just as fun today as they were 20 years ago.

Thanks. I'm not a believer in karma or anything along those lines but I just think it's a given that folks who get enjoyment from destroying other people will eventually find themselves in the same scope. They can't help but contunue raising the stakes and eventually it comes back to bite them.

What I can tell you personally is that it eventually gets better as one by one these types consume each other and the whole facade falls away. I'm sorry you're going through it but just wanted to let you know it does get better eventually.

Seen you post a lot and just kinda been along the sidelines for most of it but what you've experienced reminds me a whole lot of what happened to me a few years back. Basically a group of online creators decided to make it their goal to absolutely destroy my life because I didn't follpw the leader.
