These people are truly deplorable!
Taking health care and food away from the poorest Americans to give Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk another tax break.

No wonder Republicans in Congress are voting on Donald Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” in the dead of night when no one is watching them.

I rescued a spoon and turned it into the fork seen here and was able to match it ending up with a salad server set.

I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F.

18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it.

We made this website to tell our story:

We’re in this mess in large part bc the average American is uninformed about fundamentals of civics, history, basic biology, economics, etc, and media and the internet are not meeting the moment.

Is anyone organizing teach-ins or similar for the general public, whether irl or online?

A couple of spoons that I carved recently from some VERY dry pear. Despite my misgivings, it was an excellent experience. I guess the lesson is: when in doubt, try it! Who knew? 🤷‍♂️
