In 1991, this group of future docs began our med school journey as 1st years. That path started w/ a culture shock & sentinel event that shaped my life. But, I appreciated reconnecting for our 30th Harvard Med reunion. I am honored to hear the life stories of some great doctors & phenomenal humans.

The mona monkey is native to Ghana and Cameroon. It was transported to Grenada in the 18th century on board of ships carrying enslaved persons stolen to work on plantations in the “New World”.
There is story of adaptation, resilience, strength and endurance represented. ❤️
