I'm in the process of downloading (and then erasing) all of my pictures and private information from fb. It's more involved than I thought, but I'm weaning myself away despite multiple messages not to go. I'm sorry to leave friends, but fb is not just populated by nice people.

I just discovered myself on BlueSky and have already found friends. I'm happy to be here. Now, I can let my fb past fade ignominiously away.
