I'm so grateful I live near a Disney park that's tied to 70 years of history so that change of this scale is simply impossible. Disney World deserves more than just the montra, "pave paradise, put up a parking lot."
NEW: July 6 will be the last day to experience Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer Island, and the Liberty Belle at Magic Kingdom. All three attractions will close beginning July 7 to make way for the Cars-themed expansion coming to Frontierland.

I saw the first two episodes at D23; it's terrific, and I'm still so excited to see the rest. But it's gonna be an exhausting 4 years of companies just pandering to the people who want to use "for the kids" as a smoke screen to completely shut out transgender/LGBT people entirely.

Saw Wicked last night, and what you've heard is 100% true. It's a near perfect adaption. And that's coming from someone who's seen the musical 5 times. The world building, cinematography, expansion of the story, orchestrations, acting, there's so little to complain about. Don't walk, run to see it.
